Good morning all and a lovely sunny day here in the South West. I have added a further £1k to our savings account as our current account looks pretty healthy at the moment. So I am now up to £6000/£12000 or 50% of target.

    #13 reporting £798.59 for April

There may be some more at the end of the month but it is unlikely to be much.

Sorry for the late update, has been a busy couple of weeks what with a week away and the end/start of a new tax year.

    #5 linz £900 for April.

I know I said I'd be back next month but have managed to put £900 away. I'll be back in May/June and hopefully back on track!

Count me in for £8k this year - going slightly lower than my usual target as I'm planning some home improvements mid-year. What I've found really helpful in previous challenges is setting up a separate savings account just for this goal so there's no temptation to dip into it for other things. The psychological boost of seeing that dedicated pot grow each month really keeps the momentum going, especially during those inevitable months when money feels tight elsewhere.
