Do Not Join The Aa,the New Owners Treat Thier Staff Like Rubbish, they Say They Care About Them, but Treat Them Like Dogs, just Ask A Patrolman How He Feels About The Job He Loves, but The Area Managers Treat Them With Contempt

But to ME the AA have been nothing but helpful. So I think I will stick with them.

I don't work for them, so I am not too fussed. :p

    Agreed.

I've been a member for around 15 years and called thme out a few times. Never been anything but top notch for me.
When they couldn't attend to my car on the M74 it was a local mechanic working under some agreement with them.

On every occasion (3 if i remember correctly) they've had me driving again within an hour.
    My problems were
    • broken earth strap which resulted in the clutch cable melting. both replaced at the roadside after taking me to the local dealer.
    • Repairing a ruptured fuel line on the motorway (independent mechanic)
    • Wheel nuts on too tight on my brother's car and AA man needed scaffolding pole as a lever.
I'd not hesitate in recommending them to be honest - and I'm not an emplyee either!

Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!

I've just checked Wikipedia and apparently the OFFICIAL fourth emergency service is Dan Petrescu, formerly of Chelsea:confused: .

I think he's back in Romania at the moment so it could take him a while to get there. To be fair though he could probably still be there quicker than the RAC took to get to me the last time I used them:rolleyes: .

Why not change your name to "disgruntled previous AA staff member"

The AA are wonderful in my opinion, but im guessing we will never never see the OP again!
