UK parking control LTD (court letter)

My wife has been sent a NH court letter for 3x car parking charges (13/06/25 - 18/06/25 -21/06/25)
This was at a retail car park after hours from 23.30 - 00.30 on those dates.
The sign on the board to the car park said 22.45 was the latest. although as most know these boards are attached to posts and often hard to read. We didn't think for one minute there would be a charge for after hours as when we entered the car park after those hours there was at least 20 cars dotted around the car park and they have an all night gym on the grounds.
We wrote an appeal to them explaining we have a special needs child who has complex mental health needs with social care involved and is nocturnal and doesn't really leave the house (she was 11 years old at the time) That we were advised that even though it was late to try and get her out even for a drive for some fresh air.
We explained there is a McDonalds in the car park across the road and with her not eating till late we took her there for something to eat and on each of those occasions a few groups of lads turned up with noise cars and music and it was too loud for her so we move to the retail car park so it was quieter for her.
I explained we didn't see the sign as we entered the car park as it was right around the bend at off to the side as you come through the carp park the writing was so small that when we did go back during the day time to have a look at the signage when the letters came we had to get out of the car to read it.
We asked for some leniency regarding the reasons for parking there as had we known we wouldn't have parked there which you can see from the dates they were close together.
I asked if they would be willing to cancel the charges and that if they need proof of our daughters needs I would be will to supply them.
We heard nothing from them and the letters of threats kept coming and eventually the court letter.
My wife is the registered driver but I will do the court letters for her as I have used the MCOL site before.
I need a quick reminder from someone, When I have registered with MCOL do I still need to upload the documents to the N9B as we want to dispute the charges or do they have this online I can fill in? it's been a while since I have done this.

Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below
Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first
Use her government gateway account to access MCOL to complete the AOS online
Her account will also be used to copy and paste her defence too
No forms, no paperwork, no uploading, no royal mail either
Your wife is the Registered Keeper, or driver, or both Keeper and driver0 -
No she is the registered keeper. I was just going to use her details online to do the paper work for her she would be the one of course to attend court should it get that far.I will upload the documents tomorrow. The company solicitors acting on their behalf are (DCB Legal LTD)I've used MCOL a few times for debts years ago but it's been a while I couldn't remember at this point if I just registered with MCOL and had to file an initial defence or just register with them online to acknowledge to the court how we want to proceed and the defence comes later on. I don't remember getting as many forms last time as this time. I may have done incomings and outgoings forms but like I said it's been a while. The defence used would probably be the same form we sent the car parking company with a few tweaks and photo's of the area where the sign is so the court can see.0

Its a UKPC via DCB LEGAL money claim against the Registered Keeper, your wife, so everything is done online using her logins, email etc ( even if its you typing and clicking, definitely not your login . )
What is the issue date from the top right of the claim form. ?
Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first
You definitely wont be doing what you said at the bottom of your post above
Use the template defence in announcements and adapt the end of paragraph 2 and add your ( her ) own suitably adapted paragraph 3
No evidence is submitted with the defence, so follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread first post, no winging it on your own, just follow our advice if you want to succeed2 -
No it won't.Gavin78 said:No she is the registered keeper. And she certainly won't be doing any incomings and outgoings forms.
She'll just use our template defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

These are the documents that have been sent to us from the start they are all pretty much the same just a different dates for the 3 times they claim. I first I thought it was the same picture of the car in each photo but then noticed they are slightly different.

So the paragraph 3 of defence will cover the fact that they are claiming £510 for 3 parking charges despite the signage and BPA Code of Practice capping the PCN rate at £100 each. It is denied that any damages are due, or any sum at all. And the Particulars fail to plead three dates.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That is what got me I don't understand the admin charge of £70 what is that for writing a letter? How does the defence work if asked were you present on those dates and times? does she just say no despite pictures of her car there?I'm assuming defending with proof of our SEN child is not relevant to the court if a breach of contract is broken as they'll just follow the law of what the signage says regardless of the situation? so it's not worth going down that route?Could you post a link up to where the template is? thanks0

No we don't provide links. See my signature. But the added £70 abuse is already covered in the template defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ensure that the defendant has logged into MCOL and completed the AOS online, ASAP, if not done already , to make the defence deadline 12th January 2026, but don't leave it to the last minute

What a complete load of rubbish with the UKPC letter. The charge is £100 not £170 ? UKPC ARE LYING TO YOU AND IF IT GOES TO COURT, a letter to show a judge.
Then ZZPS, a debt collecror run by ny OSNER well known as fabrication dealers
And now the infamous DCBL who seem to think that debt collection has a new word which they call DAMAGES ....... WHAT UTTER RUBBISH
It is such rubbish that gives good reason to discontinue junk UKPC cases as we continue to see on here0
