Octopus Snug and clock issues

I am so happy to be with octopus , no stress , it just does what is does
once you understand how it works it’s a fab tariff ,
every day I get at least 8 hours overall ,
the OP needs to check their account online or the app , it makes things so much clearer

that’s a full weeks usage .. you can clearly see I get more than the hour they advertise on their tariff by about one hour a day
the 11.30 pm slot has only just started as the colder months have drawn in , so they are definitely looking after their customers comfort level ,
I am very happy with snug2 -
One day in oct usage shows 8.5 hours off peak
The OP needs to understand this is not like economy 7 at all
I got a full hour before midnight on this day

Yes and the midnight 0030 again - which seems to be off peak on all the charts - but not in the core 6 overnight. 0030 to 0630 as terms when last read their faq.
So an extra 1.5 hrs.0 -
Off topic for OP.
I wonder if those who request sub 6 hrs core charging are seeing the same changes.
And - come to think of it - in the original faq - not only was there mention of that, but also being able to set a target end time for heating as well as a reduced duration - not sure ever implemented.
As its maybe not a good thing for many for their heaters to charge from 11pm - rather than charge say right upto 630am.
So if only set to take 3 hrs charge - or want to cap to 3 hrs charge to control costs - suspect many with old lossy heaters might prefer 0330 to 0630 than 2300 to 0200 (althouhh in past others who set sub 6 saw the power on off repeatedly overnight - like every half hour as far as could tell from meter half hourly) . Heating for next day - not nighttime.
I am night owl anyway - so when my heaters kick in at midnight on e10 - I benefit - many will already be in bed if not by then by thd time new core heat reaches rooms.0 -
Hopefully the OP will come back to this thread and let us know if we've reassured her, or if she still has a problem.N. Hampshire, he/him. I'm also having problem with Snug, my radiators have been turning on at 8pm for the last two weeks on Thursdays only, but last night (Tuesday) it happened again. They turned on at 8pm, they were off at 11.55pm then on again about 40 minutes later but they were still on at 4am. Twice Octopus have said they would sort it out but still it's happening and getting worse. I've yet to ring them today again.0

This is only a problem if you are being charged at peak rate when they come on. What does the Octopus app say?Parslee said:I'm also having problem with Snug, my radiators have been turning on at 8pm for the last two weeks on Thursdays only, but last night (Tuesday) it happened again.
