Barred from O2

Hi there, Im completely stuck with o2
In a nutshell I've wasted three weeks on live chat (awful, kicks you out constantly) and on the phone (equally awful)
My phone has been barred due to fraud
I've beeh told at total of eight times that it will be three working days, lots of lying.
The last phonecall I said I would stay on the line until it was sorted and they hung up
I'm completely stuck because I want to leave o2 but apparently I can't until the bar is lifted, and I don't see that happening any time soon.
I've cancelled my direct debit.
Can you help please?

Cancelling DD is never a good idea. Will leave unpaid marks on your credit history.
What exactly do you mean by fraud?Life in the slow lane0 -
Without knowing how complicated the fraud issue is it would be difficult to comment.
If the fraud issue is no longer a problem then I'd suggest googling for the email address of the CEO and fire off a complaint. It would be picked up by the complaints department and prioritised. I would avoid potentially libelous statements such as calling people liars. Take the emotion out of it and explain the issue calmly and rationally to them.1 -
I had my phone barred due to a fraud issue, probably because I went abroad. They are liars but I get your point

You dont get your phone barred just for "going abroad". Is there something you arent telling us?flamingembargo said:I had my phone barred due to a fraud issue, probably because I went abroad. They are liars but I get your point

Honestly no. My phone was barred due to fraud that's what I was told. There's nothing else to tell!0

Well you mentioned "going abroad". Was this just a holiday? Going abroad on a holiday will have no impact on anything.1

I have no idea I don't work in the phone industry. I'm just telling you all I know.0

And what I was told.

Not really, Im just trying to clarify the "went abroad" comment, as it may have some bearing if you went abroad with the phone and have never come back.flamingembargo said:And what I was told.

Raise it with https://www.commsombudsman.org/
We can only go by the information given. There are many forms of fraud. So in reality without more info there is nothing more that can be advised.Life in the slow lane0
