Brilliant....I need to wait 3 hours before switching it on and 8 hours before putting food into it, once switched on

Not sure , still, about when to switch off old appliance.

It also says 'do not jam any part of your body into the appliance'  :open_mouth:  :p
While investigating a build up of ice in my freezer, I did keep having the urge to stick my finger in the fan, as it looked so flimsy and like it could be stopped by a finger. I still don't know the answer.

Thank you all so much. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you :)

I managed to get through to Currys on the phone yesterday afternoon and a lovely lady said that she had no idea when I should switch off my old FF. I asked to speak to someone else and she said no one else would know either  :open_mouth:

I then "chatted with" Curry's bot online and eventually was put through to a human online. He said that I should switch the FF off 24 hours before collection. I asked when collection would be and he said he didnt know. In the end he said switch it off now (3 pm yesterday) which will be 24 hours before it might be collected (today sometime no time given as yet)

I do hope that I dont have to buy another FF any time soon!

    Thanks again, everyone  B)<3

Must say I am a bit hurt and discombobulated that you sought reassurance from a bot after the may years of real life experience of the forumite's had been given. :o

My apologies. There were so many different suggestions from MSE that I thought I'd try Curry's direct.  >:)

I hope you can forgive me  o:)
