Freeview Channel Questions

Hiya Guys

I have a Phillips freeview box and while i can pick up the majority of freeview channels i.e. ITV, E4, BBC channels etc, etc i cant get the channels such as Sky 3, Dave, TMF, The Hits, Virgin1, etc.

When i go on to these channels i can see i have a signal but then the signal just drops completely and i get the "No signal please check your antenna" sign come up :(

The freeview box is hooked up to a Ariel with signal booster that plugs into the mains. I really would love to get Dave TV but to be honest ive tried everything i can think of including moving the ariel all around the room.

Does anybody have any ideas what i can do to get these remaining channels working?

Any help would be much appreciated

Although I think you will need an external to get a decent enough signal

You can check on the freeview site http://www.freeview.co.uk/home
A new external aerial (digital one) will give you all the channels. I think it's the only way you'd get all the channels.

Is your coaxial cable up to scratch? I resolved a similar problem by renewing the cabling with satellite quality cable. Just changing the fly leads made a huge difference.

I think that just means you can get all the channels if your ariel is up to scratch ECT.
