Are Contingent Decisions included within RSS?

Nothing has been said about this, but I wouldn't expect it.

The priority will be to issue RSS, give members their option, and implement them, as that is the key deliverable and the main thing that is being monitored and asked about.

Contingent Decisions will be low volume, extremely complicated, and take a lot of adminisrator input per case. I would expect them to be put to the bottom of the pile, well behind RSS.

Thanks @hugheskevi for posting that link and providing a nice clear overview of what it says in Taskforce Number 7…as there is a lot of information in it! Im still too much of a newbie to post links yet!!!😁

Indeed. I have a colleague whose last day in the office was due to be tomorrow (with retirement actually in about 3 weeks' time). She has postponed her plans to retire until September in view of the ongoing issues. She will, I assume, be one of those to whom you refer.

  • Hi

Has anyone got a contact email address for the cabinet office?

I retired in February this year, received my lump sum in March but have not received my pensions payment/arrears.

I have submitted a complaint and it would be helpful to have an email address for the cabinet office incase I need to go to stage 2 of the process.

I've received an acknowledgement to an enquiry sent to

    Enquiries@civilservicepensionscheme.org.uk

kindly supplied by another member on here.

They say they aim to reply within 10 business days, so we shall see.

I received my quote on 1st May. Sent it back on 2nd May recorded delivery. It has not been registered as received on their system yet as there is a backlog in the mailroom. (I’ve checked and it was delivered on 6th May).

Just when you think you are getting somewhere……..

At the moment - I am still receiving my pension - as I have been for almost 16 years - however I am still unable to log in to my account - despite trying new USER NAMES / PASSWORDS .. I have repeatedly asked for help using the email address given above - with no response - and am wondering how high up on the priorities list will people like myself be and how I raise this a little ?

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

All the updates have used examples along the lines of "If you are sent your quote in May, you respond in June, Capita will process it in July, and payment will occur in August" - that rather suggests Capita take about a month to process quote responses from when they receive them. So I don't think it is surprising that nothing has happened after 2 weeks, and it may well be that nothing more will happen for another 2-3 weeks yet.

I received the same acknowledgement to an email I sent on 27th March. Sorry to be a downer, but I still haven't received any response.
