So, I thought as the OP had a 3/4 tap and a 22mm push fit hose to connect then that adapter should have worked fine (although I think the adapter should have had a fibre washer inside). I get your point about PTFE and it shouldn’t be necessary if the washer seals properly. Are you saying we got that completely wrong? I know earlier you said to connect it with “a nut and olive on the valve, then a 1/2” male iron to 15mm brass adapter” but I couldn’t figure how that would work. Can you explain a bit more about how it all goes together?0 -
