Finished the 5 debit card transactions in early Dec and £10 Amazon code was emailed this Weds.
I used the card online for 10 transactions and all shown as purchases but said do not qualify for cash back . May be that was the reason for not qualifying.

My purchases didn’t qualify for cashback either as I hadn’t paid the £500 in the previous month and I got the voucher.

It's £1,500 you need to pay in, not £500.

Ah, okay, thanks. It’s not an enticing reward for me so I don’t attempt to use it but had it in my mind that it was only £500.
  • Just been on online chat to Chase for the last hour going around in circles.
Its 28 days since my 5 transactions and still no voucher.
First they wanted screenshot of my original email offer, then they said I have only made 4 transactions (I've made 5).
Then I've got to wait 28 days (it's 28 days)
The last excuse was it's takes a few days for the system to pick up the qualifying transactions.
I can feel a complaint coming on....

They were convinced with me the email sent on the 27 November may not be genuine. However have now gone down the complaint route and lodged over a week ago.

I know the criteria was met and if they refuse to pay the £10 I will get a final response letter and take to the regulator.

You can’t take any complaints to the Regulator, only to the FOS. You need to first give Chase 8 weeks to deal with your formal complaint before the FOS will look into it for you

Received telephone call this pm and upheld my complaint and offered me £25 compensation and the £10 gift voucher.

They told me 2 of my purchases didn't qualify. I said the terms didn't say I couldn't use it to buy gift cards, but they maintain that the company I bought through is an insurance company (employee perks scheme).

This may be a daft question, but did Chase email you to advise you of the offer? From what I gather it wasn’t offered to everyone. If so, you should contact them to query your non-receipt as I think that they’d have sent them all out by now.

I woke up and checked my phone on the morning the offer was announced and I'm sure I saw a notification from Chase about this. When I checked my email I couldn't find anything from them so I called Chase to confirm whether I was eligible for the offer. The person who took the call couldn't really answer my question. All he would say was that anyone eligible would have been sent an email. No matter how many times I asked him if he could just tell me whether I was eligible or not he was unable to do so.

This is the first time I've had a need to call Chase on the phone and wasn't very impressed that I couldn't get an answer to what I thought would be an easy question.
