I got the email, I haven't used my Chase Debit card since they changed the cashback. When they were generous, I used to use it for most purchases. I'll make the required purchases for the Amazon voucher, but this isn't going to persuade me to move my main banking to them.

I have last used my Chase debit card in November 2024, and not much before then. I didn’t get the email.

Would it be because you still have some savings with them?

I think it's because "not much before then".
I have about 1.5K of savings (lazy, I know) and got the e-mail. However, before I stopped using the card it was my main one for spending.

I have no savings with them any longer, either. Nor do I use their ex-Nutmeg investments any longer (only used that one to bag a sign-up incentive).

I have stoozed their credit card though and have 6 month interest free left on it.
