Well spotted! Bit of a stretch for both a Jag F (second hand I presume?) and a shed. Why would you put a Jag into a shed, and how would it fit? 🤷Desmond_Hume said:Initial £50K pa income. Then 65K.£50K in current account at all times. But only for a shed and a Jag.0 -
I applied for the Edge via TCB. No overdraft applied for. My application got referred to the underwriters, who rejected it. This was the first current account rejection I have had in the last 20 years, and I have opened plenty of current accounts in that time. I subsequently applied for an Everyday (again via TCB), which wasn't referred, and opened instantly. I then upgraded the Everyday to an Edge in the Santander app. This was completed in seconds, no credit check, no underwriters involved. Worth giving this a try if you are keen on the Edge.

I would think it would be a rather nice large wooden garage, easily possible to spend that amount for a proper build.danny13579 said:

£25k would also get you a very nice 10 year old F-type V6, a V8 would be significantly more. Don't see why you're calling BS here0 -
The shed/garage is 10m by 10m think that will be big enough. Funds, deposits /groundworks etc etc. F types are £20k and updanny13579 said:

Could it be because I dont max out on my credit card and it doesnt have a £10k limit and at 25% interest will earn them thousands???0

Lots of stories on here of people being rejected for no obvious reason. It's just how this system operates. Other banks are available so no great problem.bloodytickedoff said:

Would love to have space for a garage/workshop that size, and that would the car I would put in it.0 -
I'm not calling BS, I'm interested to know how a Jag can fit into a shed (which has now suddenly become a garage).Middle_of_the_Road said:Don't see why you're calling BS here0 -
