Hi
Does anyone with O2 PAYG Classic use WiFi calling?
I have now had over 90 minutes with the call center trying to enable it on my Iphone XR but to no avail.I have tried a new sim and still not working .
The guy at the call center finished the call by blaming my internet provider !
thanks

Yep, O2 Classic on Samsung A54 (the ISP's BT).
Pretty unusual for iPhones not to just work with Wi-fi calling, maybe XR just a tad old?

that’s interesting (and lucky) .it’s true to say my XR is getting pretty old now.
i went into the local O2 shop today to ask them . They claim it’s not available and unlikely to ever be so on a legacy plan.
O2 should tell their call center staff in India if that is the case.

O2 Classic on a Pixel 9a, Wi-Fi calling works fine with EE broadband.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.1 -
Update - my O2 Classic working fine on VoLTE and VoWiFi - had an i/c call the other day it was on VoWiFi quality was excellent.
*#10# still not working, get Invalid MMI code - funny, similar on another network that now has VoLTE. 2fa also works ok, had a Bank one the other day.
I also note I'm not getting a Balance Alert any more after text, BUT what's more annoying is the O2 App now sends a email link to verify if I want to check balance. Don't do the email on the phone, only on the PC. Easier to phone 2202.Edit: Meant to add, O2 Community still not running, but I noted at the end of January a couple of "so called experts" over there didn't seem to think Classic PAYG would NOT get VoWiFI despite being told there were posts here that said we had it!!

To get your balance, text balance to 20202

Far too fiddly, especially if you happen to be on a bus when the road is full of bumps and potholes (which most are). Much easier to ring 2202! especially as it's one of the System Dialing Numbers (those usually at the top of contact list).
