OK, happy new year to eveyrone except UKCPS LKtd, we've had another letter from Moorside (which we've just ignored) and now have Notice of Proposed Allocation to Small Claims Track, and have to fill in Form N180.

Can this be done online or does it have to be handwritten? And I assume that we're saying that it's not suitable for small claims track and suitable for determination without a hearing?

What about the bit about the Hearing (F) where it asks about experts? Do I put anything in there>

Study the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements, do not assume,  study the advice

Download the N180 DQ document from the government website,  fill it in and email it to both parties, no scans,  no pictures,  no paperwork

So we're now at the mediation step. I've said I'd step in to speak to them on behalf of my wife. One step closer to this all going away hopefully.

Have Moorside ever actually gone to court with anyone or do they always seem to drop the case?

Mediation advice is in the 8 steps,  anyone can take the 5 minute call

Moorside Legal act on behalf of their claimant,  so will do what their client tells them to do

Some go as far as the hearing,  others don't, so a mixed bag

They are new kids in the block but so far, they discontinue, or they occasionally pay a hearing fee then don't send anyone to the hearing, hoping to win a few where defendants are too scared to attend either.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just had the mediation call on behalf of my wife. Cheeky gets offered to reduce the charge from £280 to £250 lol.

I said my offer was £0, but would be prepared to pay £10 just to make this all go away, which they rejected and said the lowest they would go would be £175.

See you at the hearing then I suppose (or not, depending if it gets that far)

Hi Mate, had the mediation appointment, offered them zero, and then a tenner just to make it go away, which was rejected. What's the rough timeline for this to go to hearing/discontinuance?
