Claim Status Update - Case Stay Lifted on 05/01/2026, DQ sent to you on 05/01/2026, DQ filed by claimant on 05/01/2026
I have not yet received my Directions Questionnaire by post. In the meantime, DCB Legal have been calling me, which I have ignored. I assume any mediation call would not come directly from DCB Legal.
Also, what does the term “case stay lifted” actually mean? My understanding is that claimants sometimes allow cases to remain dormant for months and later apply to lift the stay to revive the claim. This does not mean they are winning, only that they have chosen to proceed. Is there a time limit on how long they can keep reviving stayed cases?

Chosen to proceed and put right any reasons for the stay
Regardless, follow the 8 steps and download the N180 pdf document, fill it in and attach it to an email and send it to the DQ email address and to the lawyers ( your paperwork will arrive soon. )4 -
I've just received the paperwork by post and followed your instruction and sent off my DQ via email now - easy stuff...Thank you.Gr1pr said:Chosen to proceed and put right any reasons for the stay

I sent my DQ on the 8th Jan and received automated acknowledgment same day from Automated DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk, i have been checking MCOL and nothing has been updated to reflect they've received my DQ.
I could be wrong but they seem to be slow when dealing with the defendant and fast with the claimant almost as if there are on the side of the claimant.
Maybe am just impatient and wants to see DCB legal discontinue

They are slow and also, we have just come out of a holiday period. Keep checking your status every day or so.4

I think that the CNBC are maybe taking around 12 days to update MCOL, whereas the lawyers probably have an online bulk litigator business account so file electronically, same as the claim
my thoughts are that the CNBC need an online method of submission for the defendants N180 instead of the EMAIL SYSTEM currently in place, so more like the online defence box, with email and post as a backup
in any case, you can expect it to be logged by the end of this month and a discontinuation by the summer4 -
So yesterday, I contacted (phone) CNBC regarding the status of my DQ. They confirmed that while they have received my emailed DQ, it has not yet appeared on their system.
As advised, I have forwarded my DQ auto-acknowledgment email to the application team asking for my DQ to be processed. Currently, my MCOL record still shows: “DQ filed by claimant on 05/01/2026.”
I need this ball back in the claimant's court as soon possible 🤣

Finally my MCOL has been update "You filed a DQ on 03/02/2026"
This is a wrong data as i filed my DQ via email on 05/01/2026 and receievd auto-acknowledgment email.
How do i correct this error on the side of CNBC pls ?
Thank you all

Its irrelevant as long as its done

Completely irrelevant and it merely records when they noted your DQ.
