Add the kitchen sink, letting popla decide what is relevant,  not you

It makes Horizons job harder if they continue,  because they have to deal with it in their evidence pack,  or they can withdraw and cancel
In this case they can't win.

  • I won't be able to use some of the photos though as these were taken before the date of alleged contravention.
    No. That's the point....!

Same as the my friend's one (October).

You are showing proof that there was never an entrance sign since the APCOA one was removed in August or so.

    Please.

    Now.

    Tonight.

    After watching the match, maybe!

Just put the whole thing in that I wrote.
Well...I have actually included these photos(the ones related to the entrance sign being removed by Horizon) in my appeal. However, POPLA now sent me a letter on 15th Jan, asking me to return with a reponse within 7 days! I only found this email tonight!!
  • Hi Coupon-mad,

This is really odd! In the review letter I received, they did not show my POPLA appeal letter, instead, the showed the appeal letter I wrote to Horizon initally. I am now totally at a loss! Are they not surposed to review the latest POPLA appeal letter? I attach the redacted PDF file here. Could you please kindly look into this and let me have your advice?
  • There must be something wrong here...I tried to upload the file here, but there was no response after trying many times. Any other way of uploading the PDF file I received?
  • Please see the link above. Hopefully the file can be found. Many thanks!
  • Below is what I received from POPLA in an email.

Your parking charge appeal against Horizon Parking Ltd - EW.

Horizon Parking Ltd - EW has now uploaded its evidence to your appeal. This will be available for you to view by clicking xxxxxx

Please note: some evidence may not show immediately, if it is not currently available on your account please check back later before contacting us.

You have seven days from the date of this correspondence to provide comments on the evidence uploaded by Horizon Parking Ltd - EW.

Please note that these comments must relate to the grounds of appeal you submitted when first lodging your appeal with POPLA, we do not accept new grounds of appeal or evidence at this stage

Any comments received after the period of seven days has ended will not be considered and we will progress your appeal for assessment. Therefore, if you have any issues with the evidence uploaded by Horizon Parking Ltd - EW such as being unable to view it online, please contact POPLA immediately via phone - 0330 1596 126, or email - info@popla.co.uk, so that we can look to rectify this as soon as possible.

After this period has ended, we will aim to issue our decision as quickly as possible. The decision we reach is final and binding. When the decision is reached there is no further option for appeal.

    Yours sincerely

But that is normal. This is comments stage, as I tell everyone all about in post 3 (the POPLA section) of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.

This is Horizon's evidence. Of course Horizon would show POPLA your original appeal. Think about it, they don't need to show POPLA your POPLA appeal!

I can't see that link though, it needs permission to access.

Better to screenshot all the photos and the landowner authority please and dump them across a couple of replies here instead of giving us a link, maybe.

I am keen to see the Tesco authority date and details, plus I want to see Horizon's excuses, to see in their response if they have misled POPLA about the missing entrance sign.

Found a better way to screenshot

  • The above two screenshots are the photos I provided to Horizon when I made the first appeal with them initally.
