Evening all.
Thanks for the kind comments about my cakes. The FF went very well yesterday and I exceeded my own target for my stall by 50% and am very pleased to have almost sold out - the rest will go over the next couple of weeks when we have other smaller events happening.
I fell asleep on the sofa yesterday afternoon and did the same again today! But I have done WMx2 and loaded the DW, and done a bit more tidying in the utility where there is now space in the cupboard where I was storing the empty coffee jars for the cookies. I am sorry to have to tell the volunteer taste testers that every single cookie has been accounted for, but I did get feedback from one very satisfied customer who bought another jar today.
Now I am on the trail of some ancestors who according to my DNA are Danish, whilst the church and other records suggest German. I'm happy either way - I don't know of anybody else in the family who has/had a gift for Germanic languages, so it may be that I was the lucky one to have inherited that particular gene from my 4xgt-grandmother
The coming week is a little less fraught, so I shall be able to concentrate better on the Flying. See you on the new thread xxx6 -
