Thanks all ❤️
Today has been a quiet, relaxing day. I did 3x cleaning jobs yesterday and at one of them I bashed my head on a shelf, there was a few choice words and I have a bit of a bruise on my forehead now 🙄
I've done some washing including some of my customer's washing and I will do the rest tomorrow, so it's done ready to go back to him on Tuesday when I do his usual house clean.
I'm making a puff pastry tart for tea tonight. We had our celebratory Chinese takeaway for paying off the mortgage the other night and I don't think we'll get one now for a while, it was £26!! I'm going to stick to cooking for ourselves, takeaways just don't seem worth the price anymore 🤷♀️Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!4 -
I can’t remember the last time I had a takeaway. Heard "Moving on Up" this morning on Radio 2 when Sara Cox was setting off on her epic Children in Need challenge. It made me think of you and your own epic challenge!SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £660.03[ SPC 19 ?COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; Nov 2025 £17,100 2025 OP £2568/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £4880/£21,930 (22.25%)6

Haha! I did wonder if it might end up annoying people, but I do love that song 🤣Hettyhound said:Heard "Moving on Up" this morning on Radio 2 when Sara Cox was setting off on her epic Children in Need challenge. Two days down and I have been able to move £50 to savings so I am now at £250/£10,000.
I've been having a little look on rightmove to see what's about and god, I wish I could look round houses now! There's a few that would be perfect for us. I think I need to stay off rightmove to prevent disappointment.Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!7 -
Congrats on paying off your mortgage Jessy! I'm following along to cheer you along for the next part of your journey! 😃Emergency Fund- £717.773

Thanks DFW x
Office job and cleaning jobs done (I do have two this morning) and I have moved some more into savings, so I'm now at £300/£10,000.
I need to order the shopping today and I've started adding a few freezer/cupboard bits on for Christmas, so I'm spreading the cost and I'll only need to get the veg near the big day. I've bought my mums Christmas presents and they will just need wrapping. My dad is next, might just be the typical socks and smellies for him 🤣Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Happy new diary Jessy 😊 you have wasted no time in starting to save for the move! I’d keep on rightmove if I were you, at least you will be able to track the market and know which properties have stuck for a while or what’s selling quickly, it could help when you are ready? Have a great weekend 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3
