Dehumidifier

Yes, if you need to extract more than that then you would have far bigger problems from excess sources of moisture. If you mean tank capacity then yes as well, that is the max extraction over 24 hours at 30c 80% rh which I cannot imagine your property is anywhere close to.Mary108 said:
Thanks! Do you find that 12Litres is sufficeint?MattMattMattUK said:If I were you I would go with a compressor type, the Meaco ones are great. I have the older version of this one, it draws about 140w in laundry mode which is maximum extraction power.

We have a bigger capacity than 12L, but as the tank is a bit unwieldy (and heavy) to empty when full, we tend to do it when it's about half, to two thirds full.
We actually bought ours (which is over spec for a flat) as the smaller capacity Meaco was out of stock, and this bigger capacity option was only marginally more expensive.1 -
I have a Meaco ABC 12l, and a 10l. At different ends of my property, mostly used for drying laundry, which they're very good at.They're physically the same size, and I haven't noticed the 10l underperforming vs the 12l.A smart plug says the 12l is currently running at 163w. I think the official stated figure is 155w for both of those models.Nice tidy units, which are easy to pick up with one hand, by this middle aged female.Had the 12l for three years now, and it's still working perfectly.Meaco are also my preferred brands in fans, as those are virtually silent on the lowest setting, and still really circulate the air.1

I've got a compressor dehumidifier which gets occasional use. It's rated at 10 litres a day and is old enough to use R134a as the refrigerant (It's possibly 20+ years old). I don't know the brand (it doesn't have an obvious one) but it was "specially made in China for B&Q".Edit: I googled the model number and it's a Gree:N. Hampshire, he/him. Personally I would stick with Meaco, I have two, my mum and sister both have them as do loads of other people who I know and no one seems to have any hassle.2
