I would like to ask, why is this discussion in the energy section of the forum?
Isn't this a home appliance and the discussion should be in another section?1 -
Unfortunately, there isn't a home appliance forum so it's either here or the "In my home (includes DIY)" forum. Maybe ask for a mod to move it to there instead if it bothers you. I've always said that a 'hide thread' feature would be useful.0

I would have thought that was a more appropriate place to discuss home appliances, otherwise we could discuss anything here that uses electricity, which we can't.Swipe said:Unfortunately, there isn't a home appliance forum so it's either here or the "In my home (includes DIY)" forum. Mary108 i love that you have named your dehumidifier. We have three and not given them names, although our robotic vacuum cleaners are called Obidah Shuttleworth (after an 18 century composer) and Luna (because she runs in the night). Our elderly relatives mentioned that they were not people when we got them but after a while would say hello to them when they were running.0
