DCB Legal Letter of Claim on behalf of UK Parking Control Limited

  • Nothing in my junk box.

I have sent them my response again now for a third time. I have copied myself in so I know the email is sending.

I am wondering if it's worth calling them from a withheld number, explicitly only to request confirmation of the correspondence address? And refused to discuss any other matters with them on the telephone?

This is a nothing stage. Stop thinking you want their template reply ... and please don't post the tedious thing. We're fed up seeing it! This is unimportant.

See the template DCB Legal LBC reply posted at least twice today already. Doesn't matter if you get it or not.

    Await the claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I apologise for upsetting you by being 'tedious'. I do understand your frustration; although I must say that attitude is what puts off people like me from going through this process and end up paying these guys instead and allowing them to remain highly profitable. Because at least paying them doesn't get you yelled at or made to feel insignificant or stupid.

If you read my earlier responses - the reason for my concern at not receiving a template reply; is that the address they currently have on file for me I am unable to monitor due to being in the military. Therefore, if I simply wait for the claim as you say - it will go to an address where I will not be able to receive it at and I will end up therefore inadvertently ignoring the claim and could likely end up with a default loss / CCJ as I understand it.

This is this VERY reason that I wanted to just pay the demanded money in the first place. But I had hoped, that with guidance from more supportive forum members - I might be able to muddle my way through what I find a very daunting experience. I am sure others feel the same way.
  • It's their reply that's tedious. Not you!

I am keen to help you and everyone here. I do get bored with the template waffle from this industry though. Sorry. You'll understand when you get their reply and stick a phrase from it into the search bar!

As long as you emailed them, then they have the right address and they will churn out the template dross we see several times a day.

Did you include DPO@ (or whatever their data privacy page says is the email to use for data concerns) as one of the emails you tried? Data Protection Officers have a legal duty to rectify out of date data.
I wholeheartedly apologise, I have re-read your response and I totally see my mistake now. I apologise for the misunderstanding! Thanks for the advice on the DPO, I will give that a try also! Thank you again!
