To the lovely MSE community, please help!

im usually really good at following How To's and guides, but the newbie thread and even Post 2 has me bamboozled on what action to take and how. Please help. Letters attached.
A bit of background;
I attended a wedding at Bow Wharf E3 5SN in November 2021 as part of the bridal party.
I was informed my vehicle had been registered for onsite parking, leading me to park confidently without checking signs.
Approximately six months later (around August 2022), i began receiving parking charge letters, possibly from Smart Parking, which i ignored until they stopped.
In early 2025, i started receiving letters from DCB Legal.
Due to being busy with life, i failed to act on these recent letters.
The situation has now escalated, and i have received a County Court Judgment (CCJ) Claim Form (N1SDT).
N.B. i will not qualify for any Set Aside financial help.

You DO NOT have a CCJ yet, you haven't even submitted a defence.
With an issue date of 29/10/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 03/11/25 and before 17/11/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 01/12/25
Use the standard template defence and, in paragraph #3, you refute the claim that it was unauthorised parking by stating your case and then you can provide proof at witness statement time - if it gets that far, as DCB Legal have a tendency to discontinue.1 -
That letter doesn't state you have a CCJ. It states the Claimant could request a CCJ against you if you do not respond to the attached claim form. Re-read the start of the first page you posted, and the part that starts - What you need to do:
EDIT: do as advised by Le_Kirk above.1 -
I have not completed anything and I don't know what an AoS is, sorry.Le_Kirk said:You DO NOT have a CCJ yet, you haven't even submitted a defence.

Acknowledgement of Service.
Have a good read of the stickied thread.You need to file the AoS to extend your deadline.Then you need to use the template defence.Ultimately, the claim will be discontinued a few months after you defend. It's a fishing expedition - they have no intention of taking it all the way to a hearing.1 -
Thanks for clarifying. I'll submit the AoS tonight and draft up a response.Car1980 said:Acknowledgement of Service.
