Morning all xx
Welcome back YL xx It's never easy to say goodbye to a faithful friend. Sending hugs xx I'm now imagining footwear with hidden compressors in the heels...zipping down to the Co-op at a forward tilt. 🤣
The Saturdailies are Sundailies this weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my day 'off' yesterday and I'm ready to get back to 'normal' today. 🙃

Morning all. Sorry to hear about your lovely dog YSL.
Wordle in six, two lines on connections, strands with no hints.
In theory I have no plans today but having got Christmas stuff down from the loft for village event yesterday it's all now piled up in the living room so I may as well put the tree up. I can get DGD2 to help me decorate it tomorrow. A bit early I know but better than boxes everywhere and I'll have an excuse not to dust for a few weeks.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all, I didn't get everything done off yesterdays list so today will be mainly finishing that and resting ahead of another busy week.
My list for today
Complete work for placement class on Monday
Sort through festive shopping list and schedule with Mr T now slots have been booked
Check that everything is in the diary for next week
Package up the items that have sold on V
Iron clothes needed for next week
Fill the DW and switch it on
Laundry x 3 loads
Complete uni homework and submit
Speak to DH regarding finances
Take DD to the stables so she can check on her pony
Sort bags, clothes and lunches for tomorrow
I think that is everything that I need to get done today. I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday x5 -
Afternoon all. I've been lurking all week but couldn't find even a vaguely interesting post to put on. This is how I stop posting, I doubt myself too much.Sorry about your dog YSL , unfortunately I know exactly how it feels and it takes a long time to process.Dull here today with a little rain. We managed a little walk this morning and saw lots of dogs to talk to. Even though I no longer have my own dog I still love to talk to any dog I see. DH gets fed up with me but I don't care. I don't enjoy walking so having dogs to talk to makes it tolerable. The annoying part is that all the dogs want to talk to him more than me. I suppose they sense they have to work a bit harder with him, whereas I'm already there. He does love dogs too but not as stupid as me!Nothing much happening. I did a roast dinner of sorts, some turkey breast pieces and lots of vegetables. Then we finished the third part of a serial that we taped months ago.Hope everyone's OK.6

Expert thinking there on the dusting front Jazee. So sorry to hear about your lovely dog YL. (((Hugs)))Struggling with Strands at the moment. Will be back later.Forgot to Post this earlier. ETA:Belovéd gave the bathroom the once over and did some vacuuming, I tackled one of the bird feeders which was utterly vile, swept and vacuumed as appropriate downstairs and made Nigella's clementine cake because we probably have a friend joining us for roast duck later and she can't do gluten or rice so puddings are restricted. This cake is divine. We've now discovered how fragile it is if a person decides they can't wait for it to cool down completely in the tin before slicing it;. Soooo worth it though.Recycling sorted, and after months of trying to sort out my old main email account I've managed to access it on my phone.See you on the other side.Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.7

Hope everyone has had a lovely day. I've had a lovely day spending time with DH and DD whilst also being productive as I've managed to get my list completed and also managed to get more items listed on V and got another sale. After a busy day I'm going to relax with DH and watch some tv, although I'll check in later and post my list for tomorrow if the new thread is available.MinnieMousesMummy said:My list for today
