Knocking years off the mortgage…that’s the goal!

Had a lovey day in London yesterday, DS3 done amazing considering he doesn’t like crowded places or waiting!
total spends (from my account).
£8.09 underground / £3 in natural history museum / £6.89 at Waterloo station

So not too bad at all.
we did have a McDonald’s for lunch and ate in a restaraunt before heading home on the train but Hubby paid for those.
Not sure what we are up to this evening, hubby mentioned about a takeaway for valentines but he’s working today so I’ll see what he fancies once he’s home.
just need to catch up on jobs around the house today whilst DS3 is chilling upstairs! He was shattered by the end of yesterday!

a week tomorrow until pay day so have checked my bank and paid £150 to the mortgage, now down to £187,000.

£1000 transferred to savings now at £5307 so just a bit over half way to my goal of £10000.

Had a LSD yesterday, forgot it was pancake day so popped out and grabbed eggs, golden syrup and milk.

DS3 had his holiday club this morning, popped to l!dl after dropping him off and spent £84.65 then put fuel in the car so that was another £50!
Pay day Monday….thank god! Still have money left though which is positive! Think I’ll either put the leftover money into the savings or pay towards the mortgage, I will wait until Sunday to decide (if I haven’t spent it all by then!)

Spent the afternoon changing bedding, just 1 more bed to make then I’ll read a bit on my kindle before starting dinner.

Another £300 transferred into EF today. Hopefully I’ll be able to add another £220 from not having to pay council tax this month too.
Today was a NSD. Hoping to get at least 1 more in this week but I do have a few plans and on Thursday DS1 has a dentist appointment and I’m hoping to bribe him with a McDonalds afterwards if he agrees to getting his hair cut! I usually do it myself as he does not like it but I really would like him to have a ‘decent’ hair cut and I’m also trying to help improve his life skills with him. He has dentist and opticians in one week so feel like I’m pushing my luck as it is but we will see!
