I presume that you are all out enjoying the glorious autumn day. Unless that dratted flylady bus has left for the coast without me.
I spent a couple of hours at the allotment - quite a lot of the time just looking at the autumn colours, the blue skies and watching the kites circling. Came back and sorted out the pickings - all green veg today - and then I have put in 2 loads of washing to take advantage of outdoor drying.
I don’t have plans for this afternoon - not to be mistaken for not having any jobs to do.
See you all on the other side.6 -
Our local hospice is in financial difficulty so I've just taken my car to a charity car wash raising funds for them. Rabbit hutch cleaned. Water butt emptied (again) though it wasn't full. Washing on line some of which is now ironed!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Afternoon all. Not out enjoying the Autumn weather although we did have a walk round the block this morning and met one dog I already knew and two more that I didn't. I call that a success. DH has slept most of the day since although he did wake up for dinner. One washload done and part dried indoors and part outdoors when the sun came out. All away now.Hope everyone's OK and that Mr Iona improves on his antibiotics x6

Hello all. I have been at DGD2s birthday party. Also looked after grandkids while party was being prepped. Very good day but I'm tired now. Flying - made bed, put dry washing away.
Curtains are now closed and music on loud to try to keep Poppet calm when the fireworks start again.
See you all on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Can't believe it has been a couple of months since I last posted on here as the time has gone so quickly. Since I last posted I have started studying for a teaching qualification. I now feel that it's time that I made time to re-join the flying gang and got my home back in order as it's been neglected recently due to work commitments.
Today I have:
Caught up with the laundry
Hoovered the living room
Load in DW and emptied
Completed uni work for tomorrow
Made a start on festive food shopping list
Ironed clothes required for next week
Helped the kids with homework for next week
