I tried both, a Gia and an Isa. One tracked at £150 the other at £zero so we'll see.

How long did it take to track in topcashback? And did it track at £150 before you had funded it? Thanks.

I opened a GIA last week and deposited £500. Tracked at zero.

Few days later a new entry appeared for the correct £150.

I then invested the £500.

Looking at the First Direct offer for current accounts .....

I have a RS maturing next week so lets say I close my current account then and leave it a few days, maybe a week or two.

By opening a new current account at some point (Assuming the offer is still open) what are the chances of the cashback?

FD normally only pay cashback / bonus once in a lifetime, and only to people who never had any FD accounts before. You can certainly try whether they would make an exception for you but don’t be surprised if they don’t

Won't work. I opened an account with them back in the early days. Closed. Opened a new account over a decade later and they didn't pay out.

Thanks both, I appreciate it. I didn't explain it very well, it was the £45 Top Cashback offer so was hoping TC pay it not FD.

But I know FD have longer memories than most. Thanks again.

TCB will only pay if they get paid by the retailer, First Direct in this case

Did you use the CS app when applying and received the £150 pending?

I stupidly applied b4 noticing the t+C's on TCB say not to go through their app for bonus 🙄
