yep, did not think about that but overall, hopefully only a small loss, really surprised at the amount of offers doing the rounds this season

When you use a chase code the donor of the code doesn't get any of your person info.
All the code donor knows is if the code has been used that's it

Hi Zombie
thanks for the info,as long as the doner don't get my phone number i'll give it a go.

That's all the donor gets so your details are safe

Where would your £1000 be if not in the Chase investment?
£1000 in a Cahoot Sunny Day saver at 5% would get you £50 (zero risk, zero fees but possibly tax on interest)

Chase
What risk option have others chosen?
I normally go for all-world funds
Obv need to factor in fees too

Assuming I had enough spare from my RS accounts probably the Santander Edge saver at around 6%.

It's worth bearing in mind then that you'd be gaining about £40 to do the Chase investment offer compared with leaving your money where it is.

I know, I'd already thought that.
I'm equally put off by the £1000 minimum. At least with some of the others I've only had to put in £100.
As long as I can earn a half decent amount elsewhere I'm not desperate to invest.

The requirement to hold it for 12 months is putting me off more than the initial £1000 outlay.
There are much better options on TCB, ie smaller outlay, less holding time, and bigger bonus.
