But does your screenshot show your address - app. bank wanted her address etc on as well - ...
It was said many times here, but you don't listen.
The screenshot shows the name, the account number and the recent transactions.
Instead of visiting a branch "miles away" your daughter could have added the last statement that shows the same name, the same account number and the address.

thanks for your reply - rude and unnecessary - kindness costs nothing and you could have left it with your original reply

That would all depend on what the organisation making the request were prepared to accept. It was obviously important otherwise she would have told them that she wouldn't receive the relevant statement until X date when produced rather than running around to satisfy them now.

If they were only prepared to accept one statement showing everything they asked for then an older statement plus a screenshot or any other workaround would never suffice and she would still have needed to visit a branch miles away.

Thankfully it all got sorted and they have now moved into their new home - usually find helpful and friendly advice on here but you always get one - their name said it all ;)

It wasn't obvious and I was speaking from my own recent experience. For my big house deposit my solicitor was happy to have many screenshots for my numerous savings accounts. And so were the estate agents and the bank.
Also, the question that my allegedly rude reply was to was
But does your screenshot show your address - app.
Not sure what 'app' meant in that sentence. If it meant a screenshot in the app, then it's not hard to make it in a browser instead, be it a phone, a tablet or a PC.
