It does show your name and the account details. Add the last statement for this account and you'll get what's needed.friolento said:

It isn't so much a problem unless you are only able to use an app, normal online banking will allow you to print your last statement with your full details and/or take a screenshot of current transactions.littleredhen said:Thanks everyone - she is going to have to go to a branch and I hope they can help prove her wages were paid in by printing an up to date statement - it does seem crazy that in this day and age of technology that this is a problem with financial institutions
All transactions will obviously show immendiately on the transaction list but this, and a screenshot of your transactions, does not show your name and address.

The problem is her statement was done 3 days before she got paid - so she is trying to get proof that a) the wages went in and b) that has all her account details inc name and address so online on a laptop and the app can't provide that info - she is on her way to the branch on a longish bus ride so I hope it will be sorted soonharz99 said:

You can print or screenshot a Santander statement from the app, just like you can do online. But whether you use online or app, the statements are produced at a set date each month, based on account opening date. So you might have to wait up to a month to see a given transaction on your statement.

Neither my Santander online nor my Santander app shows my name and account details on the transaction list. Never has done in the 14 years I have held the account (not that the app has been available since 2011).1 -
Top right corner. I'll post a screenshot later.
Not sure what exactly 'transaction list' is. I mean just a screenshot of recent transactions for some particular account.
And how can it show the transactions without showing what account it is?1 -

You are right, it shows the name name there. I had never noticed this! Mainly because I have mainly been using the app for many years now. Thank you for pointing this out.0

What a surprise, eh...you can also adjust the transaction dates to show a particular transaction at the top of the list for the screenshot😉friolento said:You are right, it shows the name name there. But does your screenshot show your address - app. bank wanted her address etc on as well - anyway she ordered a statement on the online chat help and then went to the branch two days later to pick it up but interestingly the branch said that if she hadn't ordered the statement they would not have been able to help her - no wonder they are closing bank branches - staff have their hands tied due to the rubbish banking systems - thanks again everyoneThe mind is like a parachute. littleredhen said:But does your screenshot show your address - app. bank wanted her address etc on as well - ...It was said many times here, but you don't listen. The screenshot shows the name, the account number and the recent transactions.Instead of visiting a branch "miles away" your daughter could have added the last statement that shows the same name, the same account number and the address.
