Brilliant, thanks!molerat said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:
Go to your 'documents' within Santander app or online banking and there should be a Welcome Letter in there.BarGin said:Is there an easy way to find out when your 12 months is due to end? I can't remember when I opened mine and may not have funded them straight away.
Failing that, do you hoard emails (like I do) from financial institutions? No welcome letters for the Edge Saver........ but ........You could always look at the top of the on line banking screen

I don't think that is visible for us app users.molerat said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:

It isn't - but we can use online banking when desperate

There are quite a few things that cannot be done in the app, although things are getting gradually added, that is why also having access to the web portal is pretty important.0

This is a bit unrelated. But have asked for my matured Edge Saver to be closed via the chatbot 48 hrs ago and it is still there so assume I cannot open a new fresh one. IIRC it took 24 hrs before. Is there a record somewhere of my request that I can see somehow. Also, my Alerts options are not working for anything other than my Current Account (I have 3 others).0

Thanks for that info. I'm assuming the Alerts are disabled while the change is going on in the background with the close/transfer.These questions are a bit banal so apologies for that but I've been really involved in other absorbing stuff the last months so I'm out of the loop, I've just noticed a substantial sum in an instant access account at a grim 2.96% i'll have to sort out, and lots of others to check. Doh.Ta0

Yes, I closed mine on Thursday 5th via the Chatbot and it wasn't actioned until Wednesday 11th. Definitely slower than previous times

Mine was renewed/reopened within 2 or 3 days so I got lucky.

Not specifically the Edge Saver, but I've had a couple of sluggish closures of other Santander accounts recently (3 days +)
