Have had the message sent for a 2nd time today.  If I wasn’t reading on here I would assume it’s telling me something different
Me too. There are some on here that would say we didn't pay enough attention and all was perfectly clear .... but I wouldn't be one of them  :)
... yep document filenames dated 15102025 and 17102025 ... letter identical (15 October 2025), file properties identical.

Hi, I came asking the same question as I also found the Santander communication confusing, so thanks for explanations.
I think my 12 months is up around now (I'll double check) but though I've done it before, how do I apply for a fresh 12 month start - I think I just close the current Edge Saver transferring the money to my current account, then open a new one and then transfer the £4k.  I've done this many times, just reconfirming.
Also would I lose out in any way if I did the close then open new account before my 12 months was up?  I'm due to be abroad the next couple of months.
    Thanks

Yes, close it via online chat and reopen. I usually do it a bit early and that doesn't matter.

    Thank you.

p.s. I've been taken up with other stuff the last months and its so easy to let things slide.  Must do an all savings accounts check and ensure I've got best interest.

Is there an easy way to find out when your 12 months is due to end? I can't remember when I opened mine and may not have funded them straight away.

I don’t think there is. You could close your existing account and start a new one, noting the start / end date in your diary?

Go to your 'documents' within Santander app or online banking and there should be a Welcome Letter in there.

Failing that, do you hoard emails (like I do) from financial institutions?

No welcome letters for the Edge Saver.
    ....... but ........
You could always look at the top of the on line banking screen  :(

I don't think that is visible for us app users.
