You can wrap brushes in clingfilm that have gloss/satin on them as well. With water based ones it works fine, maybe not with solvent based ones though. I have never tried that.stuart45 said:Use a spinner on the roller sleeves as well. It's a lot quicker. Normally I wrap them in cling film until the end of the job if it's emulsion before cleaning

You can with solvent based as well for short term like overnight, although the pros generally use a vapour box now as it saves wrapping and unwrapping.0

Brilliant. Thanksstuart45 said:
I've had a Purdy spinner for a few years and it's been really good. Not the cheapest on the market, but not excessively expensive for quality. I'm a bricklayer, not a painter by trade, but in recent years I've done a few paint jobs for people as they just can't get anyone else to do the work.bjorn_toby_wilde said:
Thanks. I’ll give that a go. Any particular brand/type of spinner? There seem to be a few options online.stuart45 said:Use a spinner on the roller sleeves as well. It's a lot quicker. Normally I wrap them in cling film until the end of the job if it's emulsion before cleaning
