Use a spinner on the roller sleeves as well. It's a lot quicker. Normally I wrap them in cling film until the end of the job if it's emulsion before cleaning

You can wrap brushes in clingfilm that have gloss/satin on them as well. With water based ones it works fine, maybe not with solvent based ones though. I have never tried that.

You can with solvent based as well for short term like overnight, although the pros generally use a vapour box now as it saves wrapping and unwrapping.

Thanks. I’ll give that a go. Any particular brand/type of spinner? There seem to be a few options online.
I've had a Purdy spinner for a few years and it's been really good. Not the cheapest on the market, but not excessively expensive for quality. I'm a bricklayer, not a painter by trade, but in recent years I've done a few paint jobs for people as they just can't get anyone else to do the work.
    Brilliant. Thanks
