Yes, no, maybe. Can also depend on what you've set your contact preferences to.

LO, Ive just done the same this morning, was paying £58 for basic plus HD and Netflix..and as im moving house and out of contract thought now is a good time to re-assess....best they would offer was a tie in for 24months and a reduction to £40....I did push and nothing was proposed, tbh they didn't seem particularly fussed!
funny thing is they are happy to put up a new dish at my new property for the 2 weeks of use I'd have left!
maybe the dish would be useful for another non Sky option...will have to investigate :-)0 -
As your moving i would wait until your in the new home and see what broadband speeds you can get and then check on Sky for new customer deals if that's possible.charliewhisky said:LO, Ive just done the same this morning, was paying £58 for basic plus HD and Netflix..and as im moving house and out of contract thought now is a good time to re-assess....best they would offer was a tie in for 24months and a reduction to £40....I did push and nothing was proposed, tbh they didn't seem particularly fussed!

I think you can do a comparison on MSE somewhere or use another website and if you haven't done so do a check now and get some ideas of what provider's are available at your new address.1 -
I've ditched Sky and bought a freesat recorder which is pretty much freeview channels through a dish with ability to record like Sky Q. It's plug and play into the Sky Q cables. I've not missed Sky as yet but will sign up to NowTV if I see something I feel I just can't misscharliewhisky said:LO, Ive just done the same this morning, was paying £58 for basic plus HD and Netflix..and as im moving house and out of contract thought now is a good time to re-assess....best they would offer was a tie in for 24months and a reduction to £40....I did push and nothing was proposed, tbh they didn't seem particularly fussed!
