Your vehicle had a legitimate reason to be on site, as an occupant was a customerThis is not a fineWas the other occupant of the vehicle warned before "leaving site" - these three to google may give you a pointer

The site/manager is jointly and severally liable for the actions of its agents, you need to forget about saying who/what was doing what and when, but return ( if its not out of your way) and instruct - not ask, instruct the manager to cancel, be polite, dont be rude and remind them that they are jointly and severally liable for the actions of their agents - even if its a "third party" and this will/could include any of your reasonable costs incurred as a result of them allowing an un regulated parking company to operate on their land.Be polite, but be firm and dont let them fob you off. Most Mc Donalds are franchised, and it's the franchise you should be complaining to - and possibly taking any action againstFrom the Plain Language Commission:

The first time I saw mention of the case that @James_Poisson refers to, I had to search for it. The search term "toothbrush" also helps locate it..😂4

Depends on the parking company. Tell us who.vish2swish said:Are you suggesting i ignore it completely or appeal?2 -
Its MET parking services @Car1980
If i do appeal end of the day i dont know what to say cos signs say i must be on premises while car is parked and whatever agent they had wouldve seen me leave. I get that the premises boundary isnt outlined but i guess i did go against the rules.
i still wont be paying it dont get me wrong, i’ll either ignore or appeal. Just dont know how to appeal cos even though my mate ordered something, he also left premises too. He also received a parking fine lol0 -
You were in two cars?

Why aren't you just appealing as keeper, as the NEWBIES FAQS thread already tells you?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@James_Poisson no evidence really all they have is pictures of my car at the car park really. And yeah i guess he wouldve watched me just park my car and never enter the mcdonalds. He wouldve let me break the rules yep, thats the whole scam i guess.@Car1980 yeah two cars. If i had to argue that i was a customer i wouldve said how my mate was a part of my party and he got something. But turns out according to the manager that the issue isnt being a bonafide customer, the issue is not staying in mcdonalds while parked there.
@Coupon-mad i’ll go ahead and do the blue appeal now, shall i wait till day 13?0 -
Ok, just ignore then.
Expect court claims and the usual discontinuance

No need to wait, expect it to be rejected anyway.vish2swish said:
