Got another great deal on a tent. A Gelert 8 man, should have been £120 but as it was ex display it is in perfect condition and cost £50. So happy! Try wholesale shops for them. Its a fantastic tent! Total savings £70 (actually £75 as we got a free £5 voucher to spend on anything in the shop, in true MSE style, I spent £4.95 and got 5p change :D)

Also saved 50% on birthday present for my Mum, perfume reduced on Boots.com by 50% , total savings £23.50

£160 from getting a Sky+ box free, tried the same thing with Virgin (as I get my net and phone from them) and ended up with a free wireless router so a saving of £40 off there, total saving £200 all thanks to this forum. ^_^

    well done mandy!!

I am still 100% gift neutral (ie. all gifts have been bought with vouchers/points/by ebaying old stuff to get money/quidco/ surveys etc) by the end of July, and probably August...then September becomes quite difficult.... 5 birthdays and an anniversary. Think I'll run out of funds then.

Need to get back on eBay but think its the wrong time to do so.

Best saving this week...hmm... probably buying a Wii Fit from Argos (RRP £69) with my Nectar points and birthday vouchers so was virtually no cash spent :D

Meant to say..house deposit saving still going well!! Have sacrificed a holiday to boost the fund :)
