Thanks mushy! I had £8.60 last year and £127 this year. I worked out I've spent a fair bit in Boots, mainly on gifts (reduced) and stuff that was a good deal and I needed I very rarely buy anything I dont need just for the extra points like some of the Bootsers.
for example if I got a face wash in tesco it is £2.39, in Boots it might be £2.40 but you'd get 100 bonus points, so works out as £1 back to you which is good if you need it. I'm refraining from buying this year as I have so much "stock" except im off to the 75% sale for a few bits tomorrow to spend my points!!i can't wait! its the best boots day of the calender!!

Wow you definatly know how to work those Boots points! Something else to get my head around when I get a chance. Now if I had only unpacked all my boxes in my flat I'd be able to go shopping in Boots and stock up on things. Och well! Enjoy your day tomorrow

ooh yes the more the merrier!!
today i am quite happy a text book i wanted was £48 in blackwells which is about the RRP, £33 on amazon and what I thought was £23+ £5 p+p on ebay....i saw that the ebay one was actually £29+ £5 on ebay, so amazon was slightly cheaper. i left the book in my watch list so the seller must have seen this, and I forgot to get the book on amazon, so when i popped into ebay again today, there is the book on "buy it now or best offer" so i chucked a sneaky £20 offer in, and they accepted!!So I got it for £24.99 in the end, which is almost 50% off the RRP in blackwells
:D:D
It pays to be cheeky !!! (the seller blatently wanted rid of it too - it was a well obscure title!!)

Overall Gift Fun summary :

Original Cost 251.71
Total Spent 106.49
Total Saved 145.22
Total Left 212.40
I hasten to repeat that the total spent there is not actual cash from my wages!:T
Other news: I am about to buy a new car, I have saved for ages and can pay it all off
I am saving for a house and started to put away the money I will be needing to pay to the mortgage, it is scary to see how money is eaten up so quickly. Want a house now, but am going to hold off for at least 12 months to try and get as large a deposit as possible!
Hardly been shopping so not much money spent there but online shopping is quite bad because you dont realise how easy it is to spend money! Argh!

Actually hardly spent any money to be honest. Haven't had the time!! Seems to be a lot of online shopping that I've been doing.
Still doing my money neutral challenge for gifts, and have about £200 left for the rest of the year and xmas presents! Need to get back on ebay, but the weather has been too nice!!
Best bargain lately...erm... gosh really not sure...
Best moneysaving thing I've done is keep up with onepoll. Hoping to get £40 before xmas

...edit: best bargain is a filing thing i needed to buy in tesco. It was £16, I bought 2....£32 in total. Each one had a bonus 400 points attached, therefore I spent £32, got either £8 back to spend in store or £32 back in deals, effectively costing me nothing
