Reading on a kindle or tablet

That looks an interesting product, especially at the quoted price point.
Does it make a reasonable fist of browsing internet sites? Is video actually watchable?
Bit wary that any return needs to be made to China, and is at customer's cost and there is a 15% "restocking fee" deducted from any refund.0 -
It will browse web and play videos but tbh if I am doing those things I do them on a "normal" tablet or a phone.flaneurs_lobster said:That looks an interesting product, especially at the quoted price point.

I specifically wanted something that I could just use to read on library apps and Kindle and Kobo apps without the pain of transferring through a PC - but that used e-ink.
I also like page turn buttons but sadly that is one of the areas that is bug filled (or the apps just don't support it). The page turn buttons don't work on some of the apps. Pages will turn on touch screen but not using the buttons
It works well enough for what I use it for. I still mostly prefer a print book - but sometimes an ebook is all that is available - or the print text is impossibly small to read (looking at you Tad Williams Osten Ard series !)1 -
Article in today's Guardian (update of an article from a year ago) Best eReaders.

Concentrates on the hardware, not much mention of how/where the ebooks come from.0
