Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have?
Comments
-
35 to receive a payment in October, plus cheque gone to Scottish BS.
3 maturing this month so may/may not get renewed depending on offer.
7 are ticking along at a minimal monthly payment for existing customer purposes.
Fully fund each month those 5% and above.
All bar one are run with standing orders. And just one is not funded on the 1st (due to account terms)
I have avoided those that require a current account with the provider.
The number of RS accounts I have has rocketed since summer, due to new offerings above instant access rates.

In September I funded 47. 49 in August, 53 in July... The number has declined mainly due to the introduction of Cahoot's upgrade option. I stopped funding 5% RSs and closed those falling below 5%. I still fund Santander, but not in full, just transferring interest from my two Edge Savers.
P.S. I didn't include RBS/NatWest, they are full, I just collect the interest, so they are not on my RS distribution list.0 -
I’m the same as @Hal17 except I look after my hubby’s who has no interest in it, he just signs forms etc & let’s me get on with it 😂 although he does appreciate the extra money I make out of it and is secretly impressed. We currently have 70 between us with another 2 when Scottish B/S are opened. It started as my hobby and I quickly realised if I “involve” hubby we could double up especially the higher interest ones.Hal17 said:I'm looking after 42 at the moment, split 50/50 with the wife. She has no interest at all but is happy that I have another hobby that keeps me out of trouble.

Two (Zopa and Nationwide), although my Progressive RS matured recently. My policy is to only open an account if I get over £50 in interest.

Doesn't that apply to the majority of reg savers on offer ?0

OK maybe it was £75 or something. I just don't like the way the payoff is in the future. I like to live in the moment, with Easy Access accounts0 -
The Natwest regular saver can kind of be used like an easy access account. Unlimited withdrawals, monthly interest, doesn't "mature"... only downside is that you can only deposit £150 per month.OwnedByACat said:subjecttocontract said:Doesn't that apply to the majority of reg savers on offer ?

OK ... I'll play

I'm on 18 at the moment, funding monthly at £5,875 total, projected interest before tax £3,210 (excluding interest from holding EA). I haven't yet calculated the " circulating value" as some RS have only just started and some about to mature with a wide range of monthly funding.
So who is in the lead? .... depends on if you look at Joint or Solo holdings

I'll update/correct as necessary

Oh I don't have a Natwest Current Account. (I have six current accounts)0 -
You can of course increase the £150 per month significantly by using round ups with the Nat West debit card.clairec666 said:
