I can't find any articles about this, nor can I find any legitimate universities that offer a "memeology" degree. I'd say it's a hoax personally.EverDecreasingCircles said:Monday 13th October:

Middlesex University Mauritius announced they were launching the world's first degree in memeology. The date of these reports was 1st April 2025.
On 2nd April they said: "While Memeology isn’t a real degree (yet), our BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling certainly is! #AprilFools #StudyAtMiddlesex"
So the headline is REAL as it did actually appear, but the story and the original headline is a HOAX
I would go for HOAX
