Afternoon, should really be hitting the phones to get appointments but not doing too badly so having a break. Not that much to report I have started my 1 to 1 tuition with the University Lecture (paid for by work) and it is really good. There is a lot to think about but I think it will be useful. Still worried about our big conference in 2 weeks but hopefully all will become clearer Friday when I speak to my manager.

Not much to report on the MB front, got the £50 from Gamebookers out but did not make much profit. Seriously thinking of having a break until the football is back.

DH wants to use our spare change to pay for the tickets to Denmark (they are on his Lloyds card to avoid charges) but I have not managed to get into town to take them in. Can wait really.

RBS tried to sell me fraud protection insurance today. You get free access to your Experian report and expenses covered if someone clones your identity. However at £79 I think I can manage it myself. They were suggesting that I needed a solicotor to sort it out if it happened. I think NOT.

Off to play golf a bit later so better get on with work.

Off to a meeting locally today then off to HQ for an overnighter. Should be a good trip as we are going out tonight as a team as one is moving departments. All paid for by the company so I am not sure how well the lager challenge will hold up. I have only had two bottles this week so there is 6 to last me the rest of the week. Well we shall see.

Lovely to play golf last night but feel a bit quilty I have only been to the gym once this week might try to go at at the weekend.

Morning, still in my hotel but going to the office for a 1 to 1 with the boss in 10min. Had a nice night out, 9 of us at a wine bar and then ASK. No one had taken any vouchers with them so we had to pay full price. I know the company pays but still BAD. Then had another drink but then some of the girls got annoying (in my opinion) as the girl who was leaving was sleeping on the sofa totally drunk so they decided to draw all over her. Childish especially since it was the team leader doing it to her. Well I left.

Friend cannot make it this weekend so I shall have a chance of completing the lager challenge this week. Only had two beers last night then water and diet coke. Very good me thinks.

Well done on only having two beers last night. I think you were right to leave when they were being silly.

Just noticed you've put calories next to the Larger Challegne in your sig - scary thinking of them that way
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

Yes I am pleased I did not have anymore and I only had 1 last night which is good for me for a Friday after a long drive. Each beer is 123 cal so I think it is useful to keep track.

Chilling out today, need to sort the house out before Mum arrives on Wednesday. Also need to go into town to sort some banking out, DH needs a haircut and I want to find out about the Vodaphone Passport Scheme so DH can have that on his contract phone.

    Hi TG

Yes, vodafone passport is a good service - I've used it for years. I also think they've dropped their charges recently (for europe at least) as I'm going to Spain next month and had a look recently.

As Taka says you can see the number on their website (think it's 5555) and then just call up for details and connection

    Regards

Thought I'd check my beers too; no calories but each bottle is between 2.4-3.0 units of alcohol (I think one I drink may be 3.5...) and recommendation is 3-4 per day for men :o

Most days I am probably good, one bottle; others a bit worse, one bottle one malt, but Fridays.....

In the evenings I usually have tea until about 2100 but alternatives to beer are often fizzy or sweet... I'll have to ponder what to do.

Thanks for the advice re the passport scheme. We went into the Vodaphone shop and I must say they are lovely. Chap checked DH's account and he was on an old tariff so could not do scheme unless he upgraded. Found a new plan same price but 100 min instead of 30min and 500 texts (which DH is never going to use but did not have any free ones before). Happy days on to Passport and set the phone to manual so we can find the vodaphone network when we are in Denmark. Nice customer service.

Went to Nationwide to bank 3 bags of coins only to discover they do take 5 bags. But still better than Barclays who does not do any on a Saturday. Need to pay DH for tickets out of holiday fund but Egg is down.

Trying this multiple bet thing on Betfair get a full refund if it does not win so worth a go.

Chilling out now but want to deep clean the bathroom as cleaner only does the basic really. Need to be shinny and nice for mum as she has not seen them yet.

Stuart re soft drinks I agree they are quite sweet. I like grapefruit juice and soda when out as it look nice and taste lovely. At home I drink a lot of water, diluted fruit juice and tea or hot chocolate. If you google your favorite tipple you should find the cals content.
