Got £25 then they limited me. Really sad as I don't know if DH is up to placing bets on the phone.

Try betting at lower odds. Sometimes the limit is on winnings rather than stake.

Morning all, what a nice sunny day beginning to think we might get some warmer weather soon.

Just completed the final updates on the MFi3 Chart and posted it. It looks really really good. We have nearly made our target of 33.33% paid off in the first year (well we would have done if everyone had updated me). That is so fantastic have a peek if you have time.

I am more convinced now than ever that paying our my mortgage is the right thing to do. I was wathching this property show on some sad Sky Channel last night it was called Property Boot Camp. There was these two presenters trying to be Martin Lewis saving this young couple money on their every day bills and living expenses. That bit was fine however it was all so they could buy their a second property abroad. Problem was they were both 26 earning average salaries, had only bought their UK property 6 months ago and on a 100% mortgage. The presenters managed to save them some money aka MSE so in 18 months they would have enough for a deposit for a 70,000 Euro property in Bulgaria or somewhere like that. Total madness, why not pay your first property off or at least build of some equity. I got so mad watching it but I suspect it was made 1 or 2 years ago before the credit crunch but even so. I would love a second property but I know I can afford it once this one is paid off. Rant over.

Need to get on with some work now as that outing with the new boss is tomorrow and I have a feeling she is going to call me for a long chat later on today.

Just back from the meetings with my new manager. They wet really well and I think she liked what she saw. She is very nice and I think we will get on really well and I won't have the same problems as I did with the old one.

I think she will be hard on me and want me to do more but that is not a bad thing as sometimes we all need a bit of a push at work. I am definetely sticking with this job there is no way I would get a job like I have in my industry.

I have a list of things she wants me to do so better get on with it.

Gosh a whole weekend gone that was quick, can't belive where the time went. Didn't actually do that much apart from play in a club match yesterday which is nice was the sun was out and we managed to get in just before it rained. We won our match too and beat the other club.

Did a bit of MB, got my £75 free bet out of Boyles and £25 out of Extrabet. Have placed another £100 worth of bets with Boyles so just need another £50 to get a £50 free bet. Nearly placed a bet on the Man City vs Pompey game and wish I had. They had a refund offer if Benjani scored last which he did. Used to play for us and we lost but never mind.

Still not heard from our bathroom fitter, I know he was off sick last time I spoke to him which must have been before Easter. We still want him to do the work and all the bathroom fittings are being delivered on the 6th May so really should chase him. However on the other hand I don't mind waiting as it gives us more time to save up.

Busy week this week, got a big event tomorrow so need to stay overnight tonight. Leaving about 12 noon and lots to do before then. Still not committed to the France thing on Friday, need to wait to find out if I can take the company car or there is no point.

At my hotel so just paid for a bit of online time. Won't be all on my own tonight as the speaker for the training day is coming down tonight and we are going out for dinner all expenses paid. Sadly the venue is really disappointing but hopefully it will all go well tomorrow.
Just had the call he is walking down from the station so will have to get ready to go out on a mo. Take care all.

Confession: went to Boots as they have my favoritte brand Biotherm and you can only get it in Brighton. £45 later ouch but I did get 600 Boots points.

Had a really good time in Brighton and the day went well so think my new manager was happy. A bit tired today and not really motivated to get anything done. Having a few MB on the horses and a bit of a set back on MB so a bit fed up all round. Good news DH is coming to Dover with me and we are just going over for the day. Need to book the Eurotunnel and will do so soon.

No other money saving news other than I am fedup.

Edit already forgotten getting my eyelashes tinted tomorrow not money saving at all.

Right feeling much more positive today really want to get stuck in with work. Also need to continue to impress new manager don't want to end up in same situation as with the old new.

Some news at last on the bathroom situation. I called the fitter and he was really nice to talk to again. He said he had tried to call us (my caller display does not show it) but he may have had the wrong number. He is nearly finished with what he is doing so can start around 1st or 2nd week of May. He is looking after his kids while his wife is at work (they are 1 and 3) so obviously can't do much then. He wants to come over and finalise things could be this weekend or next. Starting to get really excited about it again now that it is actually going to happen soon.

It will mean a big dent in the offset pot but as I am not counting that for MFi3 purposes we should be OK. I only have £1500 saved in offset but I think DH has something like £9k.

Edit: Eurotunnel booked £54 + 4% cashback with Quidco so very happy. We wll have 4 hours to shop which should be enough.

Bets on a few horses which should they both loose will give me some free chips to play roulette with at Sky. Now I just need to do some actual work, I dont really want me manager to call me when I am in the Tunnel tomorrow.
