I still don't think you are reading the WS deadline properly.

It's never just a week before a hearing. The Order spells out the parties' deadlines, usually in para 7 (or thereabouts) on page 2.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sometimes there is a date for submission of witness statement etc OR there is "not less than 14 days before hearing date" AND sometimes there is another date by which someone (usually the claimant) has to supply a full bundle to the court and the deadline for that can be 5 days. As @Coupon-mad writes, carefully read the Notice of Allocation.

  • Ah yes! I think I have found it under "The following Directions apply to this claim'

    6) Each party must deliver to the other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which that party intends to rely at the hearing, no later than fourteen days before the hearing.

So I still wait to see if G24 pays the trial fee by 4pm on the 28th May?

Can i just say a big thank you to all, taking the time to reply and give the guidance. very much appreciated!!
