Don't bother with a Witness Statement unless you are intent on going for costs and don't mind the small possibility of a costs hearing, as they're going to discontinue.

What's the date on which they have to pay the hearing fee by? (which they won't)

Mediation is just a farce with legal doing a ARTHUR DALEY, wheeling and dealing on another rubbish case. Rather shows that the amount they claimed in the first place WAS JUST A SCAM

That IS NOT normal and is very late.

The date for the solicitors to send a bundle to court isn't the same as the obligation on both parties to file & serve WS and evidence.

There is a paragraph that reads:

Unless the Claimant does by 4pm on the 28th XXXX 2026 pay to the court the Trial free of £27 or file a properly completed application (ie one of which provides all the required information in the manor requested) for help with fees, then claim will be struck out with the effect from 28 XXXX 2026 without further order and, unless the court orders otherwise, you will also be liable for the cost which the defendant has incurred.

Does this mean G24 have not submitted a proper claim and have until the date above todo so?

Based on comments shall I put the letter on here? obviously with particulars redacted?

Need to know the 3 dates

Date of the hearing fee deadline ?

Date of the pencilled in hearing date

Date of the WS deadline date, which is say 5 to10 days before the hearing date

Hearing fee deadline is 28th May 2026

Hearing date is 25th June 2026

WS deadline would be between 15th - 20th June 2026 (based on the hearing date - if I understand correctly)
