G24 - Just had my mediation call.

Hi All
What a great resource this forum is and thus far has been great with following the steps to challenge My parking ticket. So a big thank you to everyone who inputs and shares their knowledge. I want to share my experience so far, to help others.
My Situation so far.
PCN issued 19/09/2019 from G24
I responded to the first letter informing them the vehicle was owned by a ltd company (V5 was in my name) never got a response to this and subsequently never responded to any letter from there on. Many have been sent over the years - they stopped for about a year and then suddenly started again, i guess as the cut off loomed. I received my Claim form from CNBC dated 24/04/2025.
I followed all the steps > filed my defence > completed N180 and have just had my mediation call.
(Just a side note, despite filing my defence well within the limit (10days before it was due). It wasn't processed in time by CNBC and defaulted against me. A CCJ was added to my credit file instantly - First I knew was when I got a text from Barclay card, saying my £16K credit limit had been reduced to £100. More ball ache on the phone to CNBC to prove I was within the timeline and get the judgement set aside - this info is just to help others. Naturally I was super twitchy, but a call with CNBC it was quickly set aside. I then called Transunion to flag the mistake and I called Barclay card to tell them it was a mistake, within days my credit limit was reinstated, just make sure you act fast.
Fast forwarding to September 16th 2025 and my mediation call. I followed the advice on I've read on the forums and threads. I told the mediator a skeleton outline of the situation, and also added "this was like toothache and I'd pay to make it go away, but not at the detriment to my moral compass"
The sum was £362.04
G24: started bargaining at £250.
ME: offered £25 (10%)
G24: came back at £200
ME: £40
G24: £160 (and I could pay over 4 months)
ME: NO - and that was the end.
Just seemed farcical they were just trying to get any amount they could.
Witness statements next....
Just some advice - should anyone wish to comment.
As I don't have proof of the initial response and of course G24 have denied ever receiving any. can i come unstuck anywhere here?
What i can prove is the vehicle was 'owned' by a limited company. It paid the finance and insurance. Which is what i will produce should we make it past the witness statements and into a hearing.
Everything I have read on the forum so far suggests G24 will discontinue.
Hope this info is of help to others on this laborious journey.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I doubt that it was G24 on the mediation call, more likely to be their lawyers, DCB LEGAL acting on behalf of G24
Your Witness Statement will be taken at face value, as a statement of truth, you dont have to prove anything, the claimant has to prove their allegations, their case
Add whatever exhibits you can to your WS bundle
Its usually their lawyers that discontinue, DCB LEGAL, they act on behalf of their clients
Yes it's likely to be discontinued before the hearing fee is due3 -

Thanks for the comments will check out the WS statements - Hopefully its almost over!!
Will add any future developments

I suspect Naieeda Haque, Administration Associate at DCB Legal does a lot of these mediation calls.2
