The mediator informed me that DCB was seeking £190. I offered £10 as a settlement and he later called back to say they had reduced the amount to £95, but I maintained my offer of £10. Soo now the case will now proceed to court.

In fact, you can now twiddle your thumbs because the case will now proceed to discontinuance in the Summer, just before they have to pay the hearing fee.
Please show us the NoD when DCB Legal eventually stop bothering you to settle and they email it over.

@Gr1pr Hi there, just an update as I received this letter and wanted to put it here. I did check the guide but I’m unsure as to whether I have to create more evidence to send off via email. I did look at other threads and their cases got discontinued without having to create anything.

Well not exactly.
If you look at Umkomaas' thread links, everyone's cases were discontinued AFTER this stage and before the date when the C has to pay the hearing fee. Is there no Hearing Date order?

hearing date is on the 30th of September 2026 and claimant must pay court trial by 2nd of September 2026. At this stage do i wait for the discontinuation or create a witness statement to send off please? Apologies as that is what i am confused about
