I suppose we could turn our joint Edge Explorer into a sole one. I guess my wife would still get all the cover but the only disadvantage would be only one debit card getting cashback on petrol, supermarket shopping so if she was out but not with me we'd miss out on that cashback if she had to get petrol/ groceries. Or am I missing something? s71hj said:
So it seems you can't get an Edge saver for a joint Edge Explorer current account only for a sole. I just spent 2 hours on chat arguing you could only to find buried in the t and cs that you can't!!!!

I've got the Explorer, not for the cashback, just for the insurances, as a sole account, with an attached saver. My/our spending all happens on AMEX cards, paid off in full every month. We spend enough over a year to get 1% cashback on everything, with no capping. It's easy to get a second card on the same account. Would this be an alternative for you?
