You can get it in the Explorer account I believe. Probably an attempt to promote that accountMiddle_of_the_Road said:GeoffTF said:
No, debit card cashback has gone.Middle_of_the_Road said:Regarding Santander Edge cashback. For the last two months I've not received cashback for debit card spending, only the direct debit cashback. I thought cashback was still available for supermarket and travel spending, is that correct? Thanks.
Thanks for confirming this, suspected it was something I'd missed.Nasqueron said:

No you can’t. I tried, but the explorer still counts as an edge account, so you can only have 2 in total of edge and explorer edge current accountss71hj said:
If I openedan Explorer joint account could me and my wife each have a 3rd Edge saver?Nasqueron said:You can have 2x edge accounts and 2x edge savers without the Explorer0 -
It says you can here :

You can have a maximum of 3 accounts – 1 for each Santander Edge current account you have (in your sole name or that you hold jointly with someone else) and Edge Explorer current account you hold (in your sole name).3 -
Hiya Geoff ... I presume the Edge Saver you have is Issue 3. I have the Key Facts document and it doesn't seem to be much different to Issue 4 terms ...@GeoffTF said:
I have never used Santander mobile banking. I opened my Edge Saver on 27th June. I did not keep a copy of the Key Facts document in force then. (The Key Facts document serves as the product specific Terms and Conditions.) The current Key Facts document says that I need to have mobile banking in addition to online banking to be eligible for the Edge Saver. Is that a new requirement or was already an (unenforced) requirement when I opened the account? The Key Facts document says that my Edge Saver "may" be downgraded if I fail to meet the eligibility requirements. The practical answer is to wait and see.friolento said:
Your Edge saver will only be downgraded to an Everyday saver if you no longer have a corresponding Edge or Edge Explorer account.GeoffTF said:friolento said:
No, you can use Online Banking or the app.GeoffTF said:I have an Edge Saver. I have just received an email which (as in the Key Facts link above) says under Eligibility:"Because this is an online account, you’ll need to sign up for Online and Mobile Banking, if you
haven’t already."I have online banking, but not mobile banking. Is this a new requirement to install the Santander app on a mobile phone?Online Banking works in a browser, on either a laptop / desktop / tablet, or on a mobile phone.I suppose they mean you can't get service for this account in a branch (if you even still have access to a branch)Hopefully, you are right. The Edge Saver is still showing on my account. It has not been downgraded to an Everyday Saver yet.
Issue 3
... I don't have the mobile app either. I have 2 Edge Savers (Issues 2 and 3) and 2 Edge (sole) Current Accounts.1 -
The problem appears that that the banking app will not allow you to have more than a total of 2 edge/explorer current accounts.s71hj said:It says you can here :

Yesterday I converted my sole edge acc to a sole explorer account. That left me with a joint edge acc and an everyday acc. The system will not allow me to convert my everyday acc to a sole edge acc. I called Santander and they told me that you can only have a total of 2 from the edge/explorer range.
This conflicts with their key facts document, so I will give them another call tomorrow.0 -
Thanks for that dealyboy. Santander let me open the Edge Saver with those Key Facts, so I expect that they will allow me to keep it.1

Further to my previous post, I called Santander again today. It appears that their website has not been updated to allow you to have 3 x edge/explorer current accounts. I spoke to a very helpful lady who manged to change my everyday CA to a solo Edge CA. I then tried opening a 3rd edge saver account whilst she was on the phone, but the system said that I already had one and wouldn't allow me to add a 3rd. She managed to open another one for me, so now I am the proud owner of 3 edge saver accounts and my wife has 2, so that is £20k between us earning 6%.Stargunner said:

I will downgrade my Nationwide account now and use the insurance products from the explorer acc.0 -
Just to say the problem with the website / app is not yet fixed so I guess I'll have to flipping well ring them!!!Stargunner said:
