Updating Sliding Wardrobe Doors

In a kids bedroom I'd consider a picture. Search online for wall murals, they come in various shapes and sizes, some are applied like wallpaper and some are self adhesive. I used to wake up to this.

Alternatively if you just want them to blend in with the wall, I'd just paint them as suggested above. Once painted you could always put on some vinyl wall stickers to decorate them.
