Got a free bottle of water (using one of the change one thing vouchers). Total spend came to £4.95 (phone top up) but still got a skin care voucher. Not sure how that works?

I have just been on the phone to CS, who didn't understand my order either, but put me through to Boots delivery dept, who said there have been delays, but my order will appear. Interestingly, they had no idea why dispatched items show up only as 'data received' on the HDN tracking system.

And they could not have been less interested in the fact that HDN ticked the 'left in back porch' box, when I don't have one, and it meant 'left in garden'.

I went to Bath this morning and it was not on yet. Still I had a good look and have earmarked the things I want. I will be at the door tommorow when then open!! I popped into a large Tesco's on the way home and used 5 of the 50 points coupons on Garlic capsules. Spent £1.75 and got £10.00 in deals!!! Roll on tommorow!!

No probs Rosekitten. Speke retail is still saying their sale starts Wednesday,so double check if you are going there. I am just sorry I never thought of ringing Customer services before, they were great.

I must admit, my pet hate at the moment is SA who seem to take great pleasure in giving wrong information, without giving a thought to how it might impact on OP's lives, or all the distruption, that their 'lies' can cause.

Yesterday in City centre, I had loads of coupons, and the SA not only read the front of every one, she also read the back.(Couldn't believe it) She settled down in her seat as if she had a book that she was reviewing, she thought she had found a couple of things 'wrong' and checked with the manager and She was wrong and had to put them through.:rotfl: :rotfl:

She queried the Health club items. I was buying a digital thermometer, and I queried the price as I wan't sure that I had the correct one. I showed her the half price HC list. And she said "So you're telling me you get this item for half price?? " I pointed to the list and told her that Boots said that I got all the items on the list at half price. She seemed really annoyed over this, and pointed out that I already had saved 10% for over 60. She acted like she was paying my bill out of her pocket (i wish) and that I should just be grateful for the 10%, and forget the half price items.

Oh dear, I really must shup up about Boots and get a life!! :A :eek: :A

Just for information, I have been on a quick recce to Meadowhall, and in line with everywhere else, the sale is still at 50%.

Lots of stock being put out on the shelves. Roll on tomorrow!

75% definitely not started yet in Castlepoint, Bournemouth town centre or Boscombe.
I got something price checked in each store just to be totally sure!
Nothing comes between me and my bargains!!

no sale today at aylesbury store although at last plenty of mags.. staff didnt know when the 75% would start as hadnt heard anything as yet
