Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 14 - Post your finds here

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted for a long time but have been lurking. I ordered a few bits and pieces in the 75% sale. Made my order up to £42 to qualify for free delivery but it would not go through until I made it up to £45. I was confused as it clearly states on the website that it is £40. However, I added in a couple more bits and pieces. I then emailed CS to complain for the misleading banner on the website and they are going to give me a refund back down to £40. Apparantly free delivery was £45+ for the Xmas period but is now back to £40. If anyone else spent a bit more for the free delivery I would advise to write and complain.

BTW got my delivery today - very pleased with the bargains.

I was told this morn that Speke (New Mersey Retail) 75% off will start tomorrow. I think they are trying to confuse us (I don't need much help in that department )

Best to ring before anybody sets out

Found out the Wakefield store sale starts tomorrow, took some finding out as apparntley the information is private

what is the big deal with the secrecy??? we want to know because the 75% off sale will be great for us.

However if they didn't tell us, they'd still have loads of custom from people who havent made a special trip as the 75% sale is a bargain.

So don't they want our extra custom?? I'd be thrilled if I were Boots to know that all us lot will be making a special journey and snapping up the bargains and clearing their stock - which is the aim of a sale!!!

mayb the staff are not allowed to touch the stock until the day off the sale so they want to avoid people coming until they've bagged their bargains!!!

i haven't got the guide but i think its either £18 or £16 so it can't be bad for £4.50 or £4. HTH
